Architect. Designer. Thinker.

Janxavy in the design studio

Open to Summer 2027 internships

I'm Janxavy — a sophomore at Parsons School of Design in New York, studying Architecture and Design. My work lives at the intersection of built space and visual language: how a room makes you feel, how a typeface carries weight, how a system can be both rigorous and alive.

I grew up drawing floor plans before I knew what architecture was. That obsession with structure — with the logic underneath things — still drives everything I make. I'm drawn to projects that resist easy categorization: buildings that behave like graphics, graphics that behave like buildings.

Currently seeking Summer 2027 internships in architecture, spatial design, and design research. Open to studios that take ideas seriously.

Design philosophy
"Good design is a form of argument. Every line, every material, every decision is a claim about how the world should be."

I believe design is most powerful when it is specific — when it refuses to be generic. I'm interested in constraint as a creative force: the way a tight brief, a difficult site, or a limited palette can produce something more precise and more honest than total freedom ever could. My process is slow and iterative. I draw by hand before I draw on screen. I build models before I render. I want to understand a problem from the inside before I propose a solution.
